Creeper is a new vehicle that is use to perform close-up inspection on ropes .Sea Trepid along with Inktun, a Canadian firm developed the cheeper which is based on clasping mechanism.The capturing of video using ROVs is very shaky and as a result simultaneously video capture can`t easy to continue. The creeper is developed to overcome this resistance .Cheeper contains a ring of four cameras with LEDs(Light Emitting Device ).The camera can take overlapping videos, so inspection on ropes would be more ac cute than before . The attachment of creeper with the ropes is done by ROV , then it feeds video to the surface station. It has the characteristics of jettisoning , so cheeper can roll back up easily .But the creeper has some limitations first one is ,it can`t pass gently along the rope and the second one is ,it can`t able to negotiate the full length of mooring.So, creeper will become a reliable inspection tool of many gas and oil installations. The Creeper will be come on the market by late summer 2009 .
